I am so excited to share this. I can’t engage with the testimonies and stories of women preachers across time and spaces without coming away encouraged - maybe you need their startling, heart-wrenching, or praise-inducing voices too, but you don’t have time or mental energy to sift through crumbling autobiographies.
This book will celebrate the voices of seven diverse women preachers who’ve lived over the past few hundred years, gleaning events and insights from their lives and testimonies that will equip you with encouragement, inspiration, practical ideas, fresh perspective, renewed calling, and fortifying clarity.
I’ve worked on several other books with other people and I’m excited to dig into this one.
But to do so - it will take a village.
I know my pace, the amount of research I’ve already done, and that you can have this in your hands by next July as an accessible volume to cheer you on when the going gets tough.
You can also use it for small group studies, preaching cohorts, history classes, and more.
But to focus on this means opportunity cost, and not taking on other work. So: it will require funding.
I promise you this, though:
if you take the time to engage with these women, I believe that you will look at your leadership a bit differently, your calling a bit differently, your church a bit differently, and your world a bit differently.
